Manage Columns while creating dataset

How do I choose only required columns while creating a dataset with step by step wizard from any database

We need to follow the below steps for the same.

 

To select the required columns,follow the steps listed below:


  • Create New dataset from any database source. Select step by step wizard to generate the dataset.

  • Select tables as per your requirement.

  • You can select the columns in the Manage columns section as below.


Select/deselect the columns here

  

These unchecked columns will not appear in your dataset. Once your dataset is created and you want to perform this action then you need to go and edit the dataset and perform the same steps again.



Note: This article is based on Smarten Version 5.0. This may or may not be relevant to the Smarten version you may be using.
