Solution:

Two Factor Authentication, is an extra layer of protection used to ensure the security of accounts which will require two steps or multiple passwords to login to your gmail. If you want to configure such SMTP account for outgoing emails from Smarten ( such as emails for dataset or cube refresh update, publishing & delivery agent emails etc., ), please follow the below steps:

  1. Login into your gmail account.

  2. Click on the Google account settings.

  3. Click on Manage your Google Accounts.

  4. Go to the Security tab.

  5. Go to Signing in to Google section.

  1.     Click on the App passwords     option.

  2.     Write 'Smarten' in the 'Select the app and device for which you want to     generate the App password' section and click GENERATE.

    8. You     will get a password for Smarten app as below.

9.    Use     this password in the Email settings of Smarten as shown below and     click on SAVE     and SEND     TEST EMAIL.     The settings will be configured in Smarten and you'll receive a test     email.
