Points to remember when creating dashboard -

  1.   View newly created dashboards in both tablet as well as mobile view, apart from the desktop view
  2.   Check grouping of the objects, so the placement of objects are proper in all screen resolutions
  3.   Remove clear button from filters if not needed
  4.   Avoid multi-select filters; drop-down filters is ideal
  5.   Avoid horizontal scroll in crosstab objects
  6.   Sharp fonts colors like black or dark blue, light shades may not be visible properly
  7.   Use maximize size of dashboard graphs (applicable to lower than version 4.3)
  8.   Add title name for filters / time series filters with visible false (This title will be visible in mobile and tablet view)
  9.   Removed UDDC / UDHC / Pack formula display for the crosstabs
  10.   Avoid keeping background images or logos for better display
  11.   Apply format on all column, so when you adds a new column the format is not disturbed
  12.   Add sharper spot lighter colors
  13.   Avoid longer dashboard tabs' names
  14.   Simple and crisp design, use predefined dashboard templates for faster roll-out
  15.   Add filters on top and left side of the dashboard
  16.   Always prefer to use Fit to section property for Graph object [Keep graph size similar to section size] (applicable to lower than version 4.3)
  17.   Keep Legend off for Graph for better view. If legend is needed, then set legend in top/bottom of the graph with free flow style
  18.   Hide Logo/Image section for Mobile view and Tablet view
  19.   If dashboard contain multiple crosstabs object then keep same formatting for all crosstabs
  20.   Always set only View permission on Folder (Object) for other users, so they can’t modify object created by the creator.
