How to auto generate graphs directly from Crosstab
You can generate graphs directly from cross-tab view without having to configure the data again to see graphical representation of analysis data. Graphs auto generated from cross-tab will be available to you with full interactive analysis features, like slice and dice, drill down, rank, and filter.
Note: By default, the cross-tab data will be converted to Vertical bar graph. You can change the type from the 'Graph type' settings afterwards.
Example 1:
Let's see how to convert the below sales cross-tab to graph in order to see the graphical representation of product category wise gross sales for different years.
Step 1
In the cross-tab toolbar, click on the Graph icon.
The system displays the graph for the sales cross-tab as below.
To change the type of the graph from vertical bar to other graph type, e.g. 'Pie', click on the Graph type option in the graph toolbar and select 'Pie'. The Pie chart will be displayed as below.
If you select some of the cells (row value(s), column value(s) or measure value(s)) of cross-tab and click Graph, then the graph will be generated as per the selected cells.
Example 2:
