After creating the dataset If you want to use only few columns then we can select the necessary columns as given below:
Open the dataset. Then you have to use the select manage columns in properties.
Please find below screenshot how to select manage column option in dataset.
Click on the Dropdown panel beside Result - Set. You will see the manage columns option as shown in the screenshot below:
There are multiple options available in the Manage columns window like 1.make visible 2. Make invisible 3. delete 4. export.
You can first select the checkbox and then use four options: make visible/invisible,delete and export the columns.
In the Invisible option, columns will be available in the dataset but it won't be visible to the user.
If you want to remove that from the dataset then you can select the column and delete it. Like if we want to keep only three columns as Product Name, State and City. For this we need to select these columns as shown in the below image and delete it.
